Mereenie WM26 Drilling Update
Brisbane, July 6, 2018 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Central Petroleum Limited (ASX:CTP) ("Company" or "Central"), as operator of the Mereenie Joint Venture, advises that the 6 1/8" hole of the West Mereenie 26 well was drilled horizontally from 1495 meters measured depth through to 2388 meters measured depth. This equates to a horizontal lateral length of 893 meters through the Lower Stairway 2 formation.
The well was then logged and is currently being suspended and made secure. The logs will be analysed in light of the gas shows experienced in West Mereenie 26.
The rig will be released from West Mereenie 26 by the 7th of July 2018.
