Sydney, Nov 27, 2005 AEST (ABN Newswire) - SAI Global Limited (ASX: SAI) has become a corporate member of IFAN, the international federation of standards users, and joins organizations such as Shell International, Seimens AG, Procter and Gamble Company, Information Handling Services (IHS) and DaimlerChrysler AG in seeking to inform the global standardization process.
IFAN was established in the 1970s and aims to be recognized as the international voice of standards users and to play its part in the development of a global economy through the removal of technical barriers to trade and the wider use of international standards.
