Burleson Energy Limited (ASX:BUR) (PINK:BENGF) is pleased to advise that the initial flow back testing phase has been completed for the D.Truchard #1 and Heintschel #2 wells, with both wells testing at commercial rates. Stabilised flow rates have not yet been achieved however both wells flowed gas at rates of between 1 and 1.7 million cubic feet of gas per day plus 20 to 60 barrels of condensate.

Burleson Energy Limited (ASX:BUR) advise that the D.Truchard #1 and Heintschel #2 appraisal/development wells on the Heintschel field have been fracced, as planned, on 24 and 25 January (Texas time), respectively.

Burleson Energy Limited (ASX:BUR) (PINK:BENGF) is pleased to advise that preliminary electric logging of the Heintschel #2 well has been completed and has confirmed the presence of hydrocarbons in the target Prairie Bell sands as well as additional potential in sands located lower in the bore hole.

Burleson Energy Limited (ASX:BUR) is pleased to advise that the Heintschel # 2 well has been drilled to a final total depth of 11,900 feet (~3627 metres). The well is part of an appraisal program of the Heintschel field, which was discovered by Burleson and its partners in Colorado County, Texas, in 2010.

Burleson Energy Limited (ASX:BUR) is pleased to advise that the Heintschel # 2 well as at 6 am on 4 January Texas time was drilling ahead at a depth of 10,510 feet (~3203 metres).

Burleson Energy Limited (ASX:BUR) is pleased to advise that the Heintschel # 2 well commenced drilling over the Christmas period and as at 6am Texas time was drilling ahead at a depth of 3,300 feet (~1,006 metres).

Burleson Energy Limited (ASX:BUR) (PINK:BENGF) is pleased to advise that the decision has been made to complete the D.Truchard #1 well for production following electric logging. D.Truchard #1 is an appraisal well in the Heintschel field in Colorado County, Texas. Evaluation of the well is continuing, however, the early logs indicated that hydrocarbons are present in over 300 feet (~90 metres) of the target Prairie Bell Wilcox sands and that there are several zones of interest above and below the Prairie Bell.

Truchard #1 well has been drilled to a total depth of 12,000 feet (3,658 metres) with gas shows and gas flows to the surface encountered while drilling the lower part of the well. The commercial significance of the gas shows cannot be determined until electric logs have been run.
